Dell lance une nouvelle déclinaison de son Alienware m17 R5, PC portable gamer puissant basé sur un processeur AMD Rembrandt jusqu’au Ryzen 9 désormais proposé avec un écran à fréquence 480Hz très élevée de 17 pouces, jusqu’à 4 To de stockage SSD ou encore une carte graphique NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti ou AMD Radeon RX 6859M XT.
Le nouvel Alienware m17 R5 se positionne tout simplement comme le Portable PC le plus puissant du moment sous plateforme AMD.
Il est plus précisément architecturé autour d’un processeur AMD Rembrandt APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Octo Core soit Ryzen 7 6800H (3.2 GHz), Ryzen 9 6900HX (3.3 GHz) soit Ryzen 9 6980HX (3.3 GHz), tous à solution graphique intégrée Radeon RDNA2.
En option il s’annonce avec une carte graphique dédiée NVIDIA Ampere : GeForce RTX 3060 6 Go GDDR6, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 or GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16 Go GDDR6.
Ou encore ou AMD RDNA2 : Radeon RX 6700M 10 Go GDDR6 ou Radeon RX 6859M XT 12 Go GDDR6.
Côté affichage, une nouvelle option d’écran fait son apparition : 17.3 inches Full HD 480Hz 3ms ComfortView Plus NVIDIA G-Sync Advanced Optimus.
On retrouve toujours des options Full HD 165Hz 3ms or 360Hz 1ms AMD FreeSync G-Sync ou Optimus, ou 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) 120Hz 3ms AMD FreeSync + AMD SmartAccess.
Le cœur du nouvel Alienware m17 R5 accueille toujours jusqu’à 64 Go DDR5 4800MHz de mémoire vive (2 slots) tout en offrant 2 logements pour stockage SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe de SSD de 256 Go à 4 To (2 x 2 To max en RAID).
On retrouve par ailleurs dans le châssis de 3.3 Kg qui mesure 397.3 x 298.71 x 14.62-26.7 mm une connectique Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 ax (2×2, Mediatek MT7921), HDMI 2.1, Ethernet Gigabit (Realtek RTL8124BGS 2.5 Gb/s), audio combo Casque/Micro, 3 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 PowerShare) et 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2).
