Presented at MWC 2022, the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 and Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 1 are new professional notebooks with 14- or 16-inch screens up to 4K DCI-P3 touchscreen, featuring an Intel Alder Lake-P processor, SSD storage, NVIDIA professional graphics, 4G, Wi-Fi ax and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, all running Windows 11 or Linux.

Announced at MWC 2022the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 is a new Ultrabook in Black or Storm Grey design, weighing in at 1.39 Kg and measures 317.7 x 226.9 x 17.9 mm.

It runs under Windows 11 (Pro) or distribution Linux Ubuntu or Red Hat Entreprisewith either a 39.3Whr or 52.5Whr battery.
This business-oriented notebook is powered by a Intel Alder Lake and more specifically Intel Alder Lake-P until Core i7 (14 cores), with integrated graphics solution Iris Xe.

Alder Lake-P is paired with up to 48 GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM (1 soldered part + 1 slot) and storage. SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 with a maximum capacity of 2 TB.
Optional dedicated graphics card NVIDIA T550 4 GB GDDR6, professional graphics card.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 also features a wide range of connectivity options Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0, headset/microphone combo audio, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 USB 3.1 (Gen1, 1 Always On), 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and a Smart Card reader.
An optional 4G/LTE (Fibocom L860-R) via eSIM.

Above, a 1080p HD webcam with microphone and privacy shutter. infrared webcam 1080p forbiometric authentication using facial recognition via Windows Hello technology is also available as an option.
Windows Hello technology is also used by the fingerprint reader integrated.

Also on the program is the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3, rugged with its compliance with the U.S. military resistance standard. MIL-STD-810H2 Dolby Audio loudspeakers and a chiclet keyboard with optional backlight but also a dual pointing solution combining the classic touchpad with the rarer and more precise TrackPoint.

Expected for april 2022The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 will have a base price of 1,529 euros, compared with a starting price of 1,549 euros for the Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 1.
