With an Intel Alder Lake-H Core i7-1280P processor offering 14 hybrid cores, combined with 16 GB of RAM, this hybrid notebook delivers good overall performance to satisfy a wide range of users.
However, as no dedicated graphics card is on board, demanding gamers won't be interested. On the other hand, those who are content to play modest games and are prepared to make concessions (reduced definition, as 2.8K requires more GPU calculations than Full HD, which means lower fps) will be able to make do with the performance of the modest Intel Iris Xe solution housed within the Core i7 Alder Lake-H. Of course, the latter can also be used to view photos and videos.
On the storage side, MSI logically opts for an SSD in such a thin and light 2-in-1 notebook, which has the advantage of being silent, more energy-efficient than a hard disk, more shock-resistant and much faster.

In practice, SSDs are far more responsive and fluid in use than simple hard disks. Thanks to SSDs, processing is much faster, software starts/stops and launches much quicker, and online games arrive on the map much faster.
