Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows hadn't been with WWE since April 2020 following their layoffs. The two had a podcast on which they weren't afraid to openly criticize WWE.
Anderson and Gallows were guests on the "WWE After The Bell" podcast and returned to the topic, explaining that it all started with a text message from Triple H and that their initial plan was to do a big tour in Japan when they left Impact Wrestling :
"We were in Dallas doing our last match with the Motor City Machine Guns and got a message asking if we could chat. And here it goes, surely we had to reply. It was a message from Triple H, but we didn't know what would come out of the discussion after what happened last time. We talked on the phone and you could feel the new, positive energy. It all started at that moment."
Anderson explains that they made a video call with Triple H to talk about their family, life and then this new opportunity for them to return to WWE. And we know the rest of the story with the return of the OC Clan to our screens thanks to the new area in WWE with the arrival of Triple H.

They've been team champions since July 2021, and now the Usos are about to make history. Indeed, the two brothers are very close to surpassing the record for longevity as champion, of 483 days of reign. To date, they stand at 478 days. Only 5 days separate them from this record. They are already among the very few teams to have exceeded 400 days of reign.
They still have one final hurdle ahead of them before surpassing that record. The Usos must defend their championships against the current holders of the longevity record, The New Day. The match will take place tonight on SmackDown.
As a reminder, the Usos' reign over in the tag team division began in the summer of 2021. The two brothers had won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from Mysterios. They had then unified the titles by regaining the Raw Tag Team Championship from RK-Bro in May 2022 on SmackDown. Technically, the record begins when the Usos won their first championship in July 2021.
Whatever happens at SmackDown, the Bloodline will remain as one of the most dominant clans in WWE history. The Usos will therefore join their leader Roman Reigns in the event of victory, who has the longest reign as Universal Champion. Record in progress. The Usos are about to make history, all they need now is a victory.
