The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen10, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen7 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano Gen 2 are new Ultrabooks running Windows 11 presented at CES 2022. On the program: Intel Alder Lake processor, M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, 360° opening touchscreen to convert into a Tablet with definition up to 4K+ DCI-P3 or Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4 or 5G connectivity.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen10 is a new Ultrabook that weighs 1.12 Kg and measures 315.6 x 222.50 x 15.36 mm.
Equipped with a 57Whr battery, it operates under Windows 11 (Pro) or a Linux distribution such as Ubuntu or Fedora.

Featuring a sturdy DeelBlack chassis with carbon-fiber shell option, it is designed for ruggedness with its compliance with the U.S. military resistance standard. MIL-STD-810H.
This laptop features a 14-inch 16/10th touchscreen multi-touch with Eyesafe to protect eyes from blue light.

Several touchscreen options are available: Full HD+ IPS WUXGA (1920×1200) 400cd/m² 100% sRGB, IPS Full HD+ WUXGA 500cd/m² 100% sRGB with Privacy Guard to protect what's displayed on screen from prying eyes, IPS 2.2K (2240×1400) 300cd/m² 100% sRGB, OLED 2.8K (2880×1800) 400cd/m² 100% DCI-P3 or even IPS 4K+ (2240×1400) 500cd/m² HDR400 Dolby Vision.
Above the screen is a infrared webcam HD with microphone but also a fingerprint readerboth of which enablebiometric authentication via Windows Hello technology.
Of course, the chiclet keyboard is backlit. It comes with 4 Dolby Atmos speakers and a dual pointing system combining the classic touchpad with the rarer and more precise TrackPointa feature you'd expect from a ThinkPad.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen10 notebook is powered by a processor Intel Alder Lake vPro up to Core i7, and in all ranges Alder Lake-U and Alder Lake-P.
Alder Lake is combined with RAM LPDDR5 5200MHz of low-power RAM up to 32GB, as well as storage SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 up to 2 TB.

This Ultrabook also features Wi-Fi 6E axBluetooth 5.2, 5G or 4G/LTE (optional), HDMI 2.0b, headphone/microphone combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen10 is scheduled for march 2022 from $1,639.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen7 weighs in at 1.38 Kg and measures 314.4 x 222.3 x 15.53 mm. It will be available in March from $1,749.


On the display side, this 2-in-1 Ultrabook is convertible into a Tablet which can be opened to 360° with a 14-inch touchscreen multi-touch Eyesafe Full HD+ 100% sRGB 400cd/m² or OLED 4K+ touchscreen 100% DCI-P3 500cd/m² HDR400 Dolby Vision.


For its part, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano Gen 2 only integrates an Alder Lake-P processor up to Core i7.

Equipped with a 49.6Whr battery, its SSD storage capacity is up to 1TB.
Lightweight at just 970 gramsThis compact ultraportable measures 293.2 x 208 x 14.47 mm.

Non-convertible as a Tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano Gen 2 announces itself with a 13-inch IPS 2K screen (2160×1350) 450cd/m² 100% sRGB low-blue-light emission, with multi-touch option.

Its connectivity is more limited, but : Wi-Fi 6E axBluetooth 5.2, 5G or 4G/LTE (optional), headset/microphone combo audio and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano Gen 2 is expected for april 2022 from $1,659.
